Under the sovereign guidance of Crown Princess Yongyong Irish’Karolina, Regent of the Royal House of Kissi, the Royal Fellowship program provides rigorous pre-training, mentorship, and professional immersion across key technical, operational, creative, and institutional disciplines.
Designed to make the world a better, more advanced place—with special emphasis on the Kissi Kingdom homeland and the African diaspora—our Sovereign Fellows work directly with institutional systems, global platforms, and development projects.
A Note from Princess Melande
To the next generation of Sovereign Fellows,
Princess Melande was given many opportunities to learn, serve, lead, and represent her community. She served as French Club President, participated in Mock Trial and received the distinction of Best Attorney, and served as Diversity Club President. She was also a University Student Government Senator for Sports & Hospitality, a university school ambassador and representative for Sports & Hospitality, and was invited to the NFL Combine—just to name a few.
She also gained meaningful experience in men's and women's fashion, including fellowships and professional learning with a Nigerian-American celebrity stylist who became a fashion designer. Through that experience, she studied Italian fabrics, built relationships with leading American fashion designers and investors, and helped create fashion shows. She also gained experience in hematology-oncology and hematology-oncology surgery, learning how care, precision, research, and compassion must work together.

That is why I cherish fellowships, apprenticeships, and internships. I look forward to creating a robust integration with our youth through these vehicles, especially as we expand our reach and continue building educational systems from nursery school through doctorate programs.
Our vision is a private, royally standardized, and carefully governed educational network that honors traditional subjects and majors while expanding the arts, technology, engineering, spatial development, hospitality, royal fashion, music performance, music-event creation, brand curation, artist development, film, communications, and research.
Students will be prepared not only to earn credentials, but to understand investment, startup business, public relations, leadership, stewardship, and the responsibilities that accompany opportunity. The Royal League will be designed to support students with housing, semester stipends, uniforms, food, day-to-day and formal wear, sports and leisure, entertainment, self-care, investment education, and startup-business mentorship, subject to appropriate legal, financial, age, and guardianship requirements.
Upon graduation, the long-term vision is for each graduate to receive a Royal Asset designed to be held and potentially generate value, with the structure, eligibility, and administration subject to legal, financial, and regulatory review. We will celebrate the milestones of learning—from kindergarten and primary completion through Grade 8, Grade 12, four-year college, master's study, law school, business school and MBA programs, and doctoral programs.
